Tomb for Eleanor, The 24th Amarillis album available from the 7 February, Already selected Choice France Musique !

Created in 2023, Cantata tomb for aliénor of Thierry Escaich is an order from the Amarillis ensemble to the composer. On a poem ofOlivier Py, she makes Eleanor’s voice heard (1122-1204), twice queen during her lifetime – queen of France through her marriage to Louis VII, then from England by her second marriage to Henry II Plantagenêt. Associated with Purcell parts, the seven lyric poems and three instrumental interludes with varied sound combinations draw a sensitive fresco, evoking the life and states of mind of the sovereign, his thoughts and desires.
At Cantata Tomb for Eleanor part of the touring program Queen's destinies.
