The Amarillis Ensemble, the Dôme de Saumur theater and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud join forces for an international academy, Songs of Ulysses, the first edition of which took place from 14 at 22 avril 2023.
Co-founded by flutist and oboist Héloïse Gaillard and lyrical artist Patricia Petibon, The Songs of Ulysses International Academy, focused on music work, aims to provoke extraordinary artistic encounters thus contributing to making a performer a complete artist. The originality of this project lies in the priority given to transversality and the plurality of artistic disciplines proposed with exceptional speakers..
“This makes 25 years that we have both been on the biggest stages. We have always had a common desire : that of teaching, to share and transmit. This is how we set out to create the Les Chants d’Ulysse Academy. » Héloïse and Patricia
The playwright and director Olivier Py, emblematic figure of culture and director of the Théâtre du Châtelet, gives us the honor of being the sponsor of this Academy.
“This oasis of intelligence and emotion on the banks of the Loire is intended for everyone. There is no doubt that an innovative project is being created here, essentially built on the democratization of culture.. » Olivier Py
