Note of intent from Héloïse Gaillard (extract)

Loves, passions, torments, cruelty, revenge are at the heart of this program. Let us find Medea and Circe again, two mythical and complex figures. Rameau will also be in the spotlight. And to enhance it all, a few dances, chaconnes, demons tunes, gavottes and other rigaudons.
Heloïse Gaillard

“The” Petibon is at home in this directory, where she is able to deploy a recognized dramatic talent, including and perhaps even especially in the modest expression of pain. His Tristes primers is superb, without the slightest redundant effect, and the complaints of the magicians which precede show her perfectly capable of touching the listener, where the imprecations would almost tend to get lost in the unflattering acoustics of the concert hall of the Cite de la Musique. […] If Patricia Petibon has energy to spare, she is not the only one, and the same can be said of the musicians of the Amarillis ensemble, which give the different pages of this concert an irresistible momentum, coached by their artistic director Héloïse Gaillard
